"I recorded these songs in a wooden house in the Danish countryside. I played guitar and sang for three mornings into the afternoon. Spontaneous takes with dinks and donks, I get bored when I repeat myself. I get bored to the point that I literally can't do it. "John The Revelator" for instance was a mere soundcheck - a minute in I knew that I did not want to play it again, it had to be that very take and it was. I like this excitement. To smooth things over and because it is fun and warms the heart I revisited some old friends and asked them for their contribution which they kindly gave. It said so in their contracts, too.

I find it harder to come up with a reason to do an album as I get older. This time I made it and I am proud to have come up with the best I could. I hope you like it too. Streaming and downloading is for free - these songs are not mine, so I feel it wouldn't be fair to charge you. If however you want to give something you have this option in the process.
